This is a blog we set up so interested friends and family members can follow our remodel. We're very excited and hope to share our success with you. Please don't post any identifying information in your comments. I do sometimes get behind, usually due to having to transfer my pictures from the camera and from working some long days. I usually do at least a few entries a week though, so be sure to read back a few days to catch them all.
Yesterday C and I spent the day helping the former owner clear 30 years of debris. There was so much stuff - a whole group of people worked all day and still didn't finish. The good news is that we cleared enough to start working on the house. This is a big milestone and I am really excited. Hopefully, I will at least have set some appointments for estimates by the end of the week.

We're a married couple in the thick of an extensive remodel on a long-neglected gem. We expect it to be filled with excitement. We know there may be some frustration along the way, but in the end we'll have a great house.
