This is a blog we set up so interested friends and family members can follow our remodel. We're very excited and hope to share our success with you. Please don't post any identifying information in your comments. I do sometimes get behind, usually due to having to transfer my pictures from the camera and from working some long days. I usually do at least a few entries a week though, so be sure to read back a few days to catch them all.
I spent all day today (many hours) on filing, phone calls, administration, etc. I am slowly trying to get our files cleaned up and into a good system. I got rid of a whole box of files. While we are remodeling, I am also slowly moving into the house as space becomes available to me (lots of stuff still in the garage), and I am always in the organizing and decluttering mode as well.

We're a married couple in the thick of an extensive remodel on a long-neglected gem. We expect it to be filled with excitement. We know there may be some frustration along the way, but in the end we'll have a great house.
