Week ending 6/4/10

On Monday, we did 2 hours of sanding each (4 man-hours total) and got some house stuff done. It sure wasn't fun, but it did feel good to get things done. I estimate about 14 hours to go on sanding this coat as follows:

4 foot sliding windows: 4 (3 frames at 1 hour each, 1 sash at half hour, half hour extra)
office door: 1 hour to go
3 interior doors: 3 hours each for a total of 9 hours

The good news is this is under where I expected to be and that's always a pleasant and rare surprise with home improvement projects.
