Bedroom window shade #1

Today I got the first bedroom window shade up. I budgeted 1 hour but it took 2.5. If I was a contractor, I'd be doing great!

It looks really good, but I think they may have given me the wrong color - it looks too white. I'll decide later if it bugs me enough to follow up on.

I'm super happy because this is the first thing I see in the morning.

I've looked at those newspapers, trashbags and blue tape every day for over 5 years.

Because of the shape of the window and shade, I have to cut a little off the end cap to make it fit. It's a tedious job, but at least I knew what to do.




Here's the after shot - so much better! I'm really happy with the shades - this is exactly the picture I had when I was deciding on them.
