This is a blog we set up so interested friends and family members can follow our remodel. We're very excited and hope to share our success with you. Please don't post any identifying information in your comments. I do sometimes get behind, usually due to having to transfer my pictures from the camera and from working some long days. I usually do at least a few entries a week though, so be sure to read back a few days to catch them all.
Today we got our bed moved and used our new shop vac to clean up some of the ever-present white construction dust. It made a big difference - previously, our bed was in the smallest bedroom along with a hanging rack, makeshift desk, bookshelves holding clothes, and everything else we needed to live. It is nice actually being able to walk all the way around the bed without stepping on or over anything.

We're a married couple in the thick of an extensive remodel on a long-neglected gem. We expect it to be filled with excitement. We know there may be some frustration along the way, but in the end we'll have a great house.
