This is a blog we set up so interested friends and family members can follow our remodel. We're very excited and hope to share our success with you. Please don't post any identifying information in your comments. I do sometimes get behind, usually due to having to transfer my pictures from the camera and from working some long days. I usually do at least a few entries a week though, so be sure to read back a few days to catch them all.
We were realllllllly tired today after two long, very physical days. We spent 3 hours ordering the dye and grinding tool and researching mixers. In the evening, we watched the instructional dvd we purchased. It arrived yesterday afternoon while we were doing our samples, but I didn't check the mail until very late at night. If only it had shown up earlier!

We're a married couple in the thick of an extensive remodel on a long-neglected gem. We expect it to be filled with excitement. We know there may be some frustration along the way, but in the end we'll have a great house.
