handles done

The handles are all done! Every cabinet in the kitchen has a handle! Seems odd doesn't it, that this would be cause for celebration. But we've lived here 2.5 years, and the cabinets have been in about 2 years. For that entire time, we've had to use a foot or fingernail to open every cabinet, every time, every day that you open a cabinet. It is so nice to have handles! It feels good too because it felt like one of those projects I would never get to, and now it's done!

I'm ready to clean up and start the garage shelving.

This shot is a cabinet that was installed by our prior incompetent contractor. You can see how badly aligned it is now that he handles are installed. He thought this was done. It looks like crap, but will have to wait a long time to get fixed.
