This is a blog we set up so interested friends and family members can follow our remodel. We're very excited and hope to share our success with you. Please don't post any identifying information in your comments. I do sometimes get behind, usually due to having to transfer my pictures from the camera and from working some long days. I usually do at least a few entries a week though, so be sure to read back a few days to catch them all.
Today we fixed the heater wire! C went to the local home improvement store and picked up some wire, and we managed to rerun and connect it and it worked! We saved at least $200 doing it ourselves. I did the attic crawling - at 6'4" there just isn't room for C to move around up there.

We're a married couple in the thick of an extensive remodel on a long-neglected gem. We expect it to be filled with excitement. We know there may be some frustration along the way, but in the end we'll have a great house.
