Week ending 9/9/11

On Saturday, we spent a few more hours on the tv and C even worked for a few hours on Sunday but we still didn't have it up. We had a good plan and the beginnings of getting it mounted but it wasn't up.

On Tuesday, C came home for lunch because he thought we were ready to mount the tv and we both needed to be there to lift it. We were really disappointed to have to carry that darn tv back to the kitchen table when it wouldn't fit the mount by a fraction of an inch.

C did some adjusting late Tuesday night after getting home and we were able to get it in place on Wednesday morning! Victory! It only took a few minutes once we had gotten that far. We just had to lift it into place and secure a few screws.

I stayed up late to wait for him Wednesday night and we were able to watch a show on our new tv!

Thursday we had our annual hedge and tree trim. I waited a few extra weeks from the 1-year mark and I think I waited too long because the hedge and trees are really bare. Oh well, they'll grow back and I know for next year.
