Week ending 10/29/10

On Monday, I spent half an hour buffing the side door and I'm ready to order the shade next week.

Total hours on windows and doors to date: 402.25

Finally got the contractor's estimate on Wednesday - 9 days to get an estimate! We could have had the work done already! By the same token, he complains about how bad business is. Uh, maybe that's because you don't step up when people want to give you money?

The price looks good though, so we're a go.

Week ending 10/22/10

On Monday the 18th, the contractor came over to give us an estimate on the paint. As of Friday, we still didn't have it yet.

Week ending 10/15/10

On Monday, I got the kitchen shade up. It doesn't fit quite right, but it works just fine so I will leave it as is. These windows have been such a hassle to get shades for.

Putting up the shade took 1.5 hours, so that brings the total on windows and doors to 401.75.

Last weekend we went to a local car show so there's not much to report this week.
