This is a blog we set up so interested friends and family members can follow our remodel. We're very excited and hope to share our success with you. Please don't post any identifying information in your comments. I do sometimes get behind, usually due to having to transfer my pictures from the camera and from working some long days. I usually do at least a few entries a week though, so be sure to read back a few days to catch them all.
Still nothing on the home improvement front. I was really busy with my business this week, but it is on my to-do list to follow up with the contractor on the gazebo. It's been 2 months and we haven't heard from him. Par for the course.

Nothing to report. Absolutely nothing. I'm still trying hard to get sort of caught up from the end of the year. It's really hard to stay out ahead of things and right now I'm working so hard just to not drop any balls that I can't take on any new house projects. I feel a little stuck since it's been two months with no forward progress, but I guess I just have to take a break right now.

We did nothing on the house over the last few weeks and probably won't for another week or two. The gazebo has deteriorated badly over the last few weeks and the contractor hasn't called us since Thanksgiving. I just don't have the energy to tackle anything right now, and I'm paddling hard to catch up from the holidays. So give us a few weeks and we'll hopefully have something more to report.

We're a married couple in the thick of an extensive remodel on a long-neglected gem. We expect it to be filled with excitement. We know there may be some frustration along the way, but in the end we'll have a great house.
