This is a blog we set up so interested friends and family members can follow our remodel. We're very excited and hope to share our success with you. Please don't post any identifying information in your comments. I do sometimes get behind, usually due to having to transfer my pictures from the camera and from working some long days. I usually do at least a few entries a week though, so be sure to read back a few days to catch them all.
We did nothing much on the house the last few weeks. C's dad had cancer surgery in April and he began to decline a few weeks ago. The last few weeks were spent arranging care and appointments and finally, on Tuesday evening he died peacefully at home. We'll miss him.

No work here - we have a situation with a family member being sick that is taking a lot of time. We cancelled our trip so we'll see what the next few weeks bring.

We are enjoying our new TV and Chris just finished a brutal crunch time at work, so we haven't done much except the tv. We have a trip scheduled for two weeks leaving on the 19th, so I'm unraveling from one trip and gearing up for the next. Yikes!

We're a married couple in the thick of an extensive remodel on a long-neglected gem. We expect it to be filled with excitement. We know there may be some frustration along the way, but in the end we'll have a great house.
